Design Researcher
+ Strategist
I believe strongly that the value of design is that it allows for the socialization and adoption of new ideas and innovations toward creating new futures. As I engage in the design of products, services, and experiences, I apply a systems lens to critically analyze current contexts and develop sustainable solutions that might lead to preferred and more equitable futures.

With a penchant for analytical thinking and a natural drive to seek truth, I have a knack and passion for analyzing complexities, recognizing patterns, and spotting interesting peculiarities. I'm process-oriented and comfortable navigating uncertainty while moving toward structured understanding.

Before being introduced to the exciting world of design, I received my B.A. and Master in Accounting from Florida A&M University and the Michigan Ross School of Business, respectively. As a management consultant, I led engagement teams and co-developed service offerings. These experiences nurtured my respect for cultivating supportive and effective teaming environments.

In my free time, you'll find me watching Michigan football, discovering new artists at local live music venues, or scouring local record stores for the next addition to my vinyl collection.
